The
Birds seem unwilling to give their best.
They are taking to long too recover from a
race. They seem to be short on stamina.
The birds are fit; I just need something
to give them that edge.
Fertility
is not what it should be!!
The
Birds seem to lack the willingness to give
their best! - Fertility is not what is
should be, and it gets worse every year.
|
The
birds won’t settle to breed. The hen is
aggressive towards the cock whenever he
goes near her. The hen/cock is throwing
the young out of the nest. The hen/cock is
attacking the young. The birds are
feather-plucking themselves/ young. |

 Plenty
of eggs but they are mostly all infertile.
Even though I have seen the birds mating.
I am getting a lot of “Dead in shell”.
A lot of chicks are dying when they have
just hatched. A lot of young are dying at
between 3 and 10 days (or similar age
range) Fertility
is very poor! - Parents stop feeding
young! - Parents killed young!-Birds are
very nervous! -
Birds are to neurotic to settle to
breeding! Hens
are deserting the nest before the eggs
hatch. (Often on the day of hatching) |
 Birds
are feather plucking themselves and/or
their young! Birds are constantly
screaming! – |
Birds broke their eggs! Terrific
show bird but not steady enough when being
judged. |

PARROTS & PARAKEETS/CONURES |

These
are just some of the many and varied
comments and complaints that breeders of
the many and various Bird species have
been making about the varieties they keep
for whatever reason, e.g. Racing, Showing,
Breeding etc. Most
of the comments have been made by and are
relevant to breeders of Racing Pigeons,
Poultry, Parrots, large and small Conures,
Cockatiels, Budgerigars, British Birds,
Canaries, British and Foreign Finches, and
Tropical/Exotic |
Young
are dying after about 1 to 3 days! – Hen
won’t let cock tread her! – Cock birds
just do not seem interested! –The
birds carry out mating as normal but still
no fertile eggs |

Terrific
show bird but not steady enough on perch! |
